My last holiday was a 5 day trip to Prague in the Czech Republic. I know Prague very well because I lived there as a student when I was at university. Instead of staying in hotels, I stayed with one of my old friends.
It is so much fun, and it is a little bit like my former life. I visited the university. I love visiting the university because it has changed a lot and it looks more modern. I went to the supermarket near the house I used to live in.
I was really happy to find my favorite cheese and chocolate biscuits, but they were a bit more expensive than I remembered!
We did some touristy things as well. We went to the castle and walked around the city. The view was great. We also crossed the historical Charles Bridge.
My friend lives close to the TV tower, so we saw the famous Baby Statues climbing up it. These babies haven’t changed since I was young either.

The Gateway of India is a famous landmark in Mumbai. It is located near the Arabian Sea. Pigeons fly around the monument. It is an amazing sight to watch.
We visited the Taj hotel and the newly built annexe. We then went to Elephanta Caves. There is a huge mountain surrounding us and the sea all around us.
Monkeys are pests that steal things from people. Tourists should beware of them because they’re dangerous.
My Holiday Example 3
The Elephanta Caves were built by ancient people using very simple tools. Their techniques were amazing. They used a lot of hard work to create these huge buildings out of a single rock.
After a trip to the Elefant, we went shopping at Fashion Street. We got everything we needed at a great price. Then we went to the CSMT, or Chhatrapati Shivajraj Maharaj Terminus.
New Delhi Railway Station is a major train station located in New Delhi, India. It was built in 1874 and designed by Frederick William Stevens. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Food was my favorite thing about Mumbai. There are many types of delicious dishes you can eat there. Pav Bhaji, Kebabs, Vada Pao, Bhel Puri, Ice Gola… My mouth was full of these delicious foods.
The next day, we went to another place called SiddhiVinayak Temple. We also went to Juhu Beach. It was a beautiful place. The view of the sunset from that place is amazing. We also went to South Bombay.
Mannat (Shahrukh Khan’s house and Salman Khan’s house are located near each other. Both houses are located in Bandra West.
Mannat is a huge mansion surrounded by gardens and waterfalls. Salman Khan’s house is smaller than Mannat but more beautiful. He lives there with his wife and children.

Costa Rica is a beautiful country located in Central America. It is known as the happiest country in the entire world. This is due to the fact that people living there feel happy most of the time.
There are many things to do in Costa Rica, including seeing the rainforest, visiting the beaches, and enjoying the nightlife.
The diversity of wildlife was awesome! There were waterfalls, green grasslands, and unknown places, as well as many beautiful white sand beaches.
The food was also great, with rice and vegetables being our daily meals, but the taste was especially delicious right there, amidst nature and the animals.
We had a great time living in Costa Rica. We were treated well by everyone. We felt like we were part of the community.
People here say “pura vida” when they want to express how happy they are. This means “pure life.”
That was the best holiday I’ve ever had.
